Unique Bachelorette Party Activities Your Bridesmaids Will Love
There are so many unique bachelorette party activities you and the girls can do. I recently went on a bachelorette for my college best friend and it’s safe to say I took some notes.
We (the bridesmaids and the bride) went away to an Airbnb in Connecticut that overlooked a serene lake about 45 minutes north of New Haven.
Over the course of three days, the Maid of Honor had us on a packed schedule, sight-seeing everything near our Airbnb.
This post is all about original bachelorette party activities you and your bridesmaids can do.
Sip Some Wine at A Vineyard
For the bachelorette trip I went on, we went to Meriden, CT and we stopped at two vineyards – Paradise on our first day and Gouveia on our final day. Both were beautiful in their own way but Gouveia was definitely my favorite.
The best part about visiting a vineyard as a bachelorette party activity is that the party is able to give a toast to the bride-to-be.
As seen above, we were able to watch the stunning sunset over the mountains (something we can’t do on Long Island).
What’s nice about visiting most vineyards is that you can bring your own cheese and crackers and sip some wine while you chat with the fellow bridesmaids and get to know one another.
Admire Paintings at An Art Gallery
This unique bachelorette party trip was the first on the itinerary of our three-day weekend. The activity: go to a local art gallery. For my friend’s bachelorette party, we went to the Yale Art Gallery at Yale University in New Haven, CT.
We saw stunning and well-known, original art as well as decorative pieces. What’s awesome about art galleries (or interactive exhibits) is that it makes for a great photo-op.
Spend the Night (or two) at An Airbnb
It’s always nice to get away and relax for a while. One of the bachelorette activities was to stay in an Airbnb away from home.
While nine girls in one home was a lot, we made it work and it was actually more enjoyable than you think – and affordable! It was a great way for all the girls to bond – especially since some of us didn’t know each other – and have a central location for all of us to meet up at and relax at the end of the day.
The Airbnb we stayed at was adorable and had a beautiful view overlooking a lake. For the first time in years, I was able to watch the sunrise!
Visit a Historic Monument
One of the bachelorette party ideas was to visit an old post on top of a mountain. This activity is perfect for the bride who loves history or likes to explore the outdoors.
In Conclusion…
Planning a Bachelorette Party takes a lot of meticulous planning which I don’t have experience doing but it’s 100% worth it in when the bride is happy being surrounded by her girls.
