I heard on a TikTok once that “Your local is someone’s dream destination” and that inspired me to create this blog.
As a Long Island native, I’ve come to realize that there are so many unique places to visit on this island. I’ve also come to advocate traveling locally. Whether that be your city, state, or country, there are so many wonderful places to explore.

While I’ve had wonderful opportunities (and memories) to travel abroad and outside of New York, nothing beats learning about your hometown. While local travel can be just as daunting as international travel, I’m hear to guide you along the way!

For most of my life, my passions changed. I went from wanting to be a meteorologist, to a Spanish teacher, to a lawyer, to a marketer, and to an academic advisor but, one thing always remained the same-I wanted to travel and explore everything the world has to offer.
There’s no shame in local travel. there’s nothing like a relaxing roadtrip!
While I am currently focusing on traveling locally in the New York City Metropolitan Area/Long Island, I hope to-with the help of this blog-travel to other places in the United States and around the world.
